Thank goodness the whole site was not affected, and only made me (and perhaps a few of you) pull their hair out..

I've long ago conceded that I take my breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, supper, and midnight snack way too seriously. But when it comes to debating things like debating "foodie" or "is food art?" I will leave that for people who take themselves too seriously. That's a line I won't cross. I'm too busy eating.

Yeah, I hate the term "foodie" for what I do. But I can't think of a different word that I like. Gourmand?  Too snooty. I'm not really activist, but I care about food related issues. Meh. I just tell people I like to eat.

I have been operating on a "Tablet" or phone for a few weeks, seems like my computer is fixed and up and running, so I hope to fill in some "place holder" messages I have left behind. 

I good computer with a comfortable keyboard is a GREAT thing to have..

And I have a NEW Ipad sitting here unused,  I am just reluctant to learn a new interface after just getting used to Win8....

It only lasted 1 1/2 days..   It is off now..

this wonderful tablet wil have to suffffice..

excuse spelling problems..    keys too small

Back to my great Logitech keyboard and mouse, and macro programs etc..   

It hauls ass now..

It was NOT, NOT, NOT fixed..      after a complete tear-down it was a faulty switch, on the front of the computer..

cost:

2 motherboards
2 CPU's  ( one salvagable )
WEEKS of downtime that made me work on an ASUS tablet
A Room AC unit that now keeps our office at 62º so I have to wear a jacket
One of the MB's is salvageable, the other somehow got it's processor pins bent on the install, it is junk and has never booted up. 

The switch was $14.00, the rewiring was $11.00

But now this bad puppy flies. 

This is the first post on it since I just plugged it in..     6:01pm  10/27/14

Dear God, please let this thing work..
