« on: February 02, 2013, 12:47:29 PM »

Contact Dewdropper here on our board for updates, I understand that this is her gig.

Several folks on our board and a few others are meeting here for dinner, who else would like to attend?

Meeting time at 6pm at the restaurant, I could be wrong about the time....

RUMI's / 6:45pm /Sunday, February 10th.
6112 Roswell Rd  Atlanta, GA 30328
(404) 477-2100

Good news!  We have secured a table for 12 and I think that covers everyone I am aware of.  If you would like to attend and have not posted about this dinner previously, Rumi's has a cap on groups larger than 12.  I have instructed Rumi's staff to please accomodate any additional attendees via their own reservations, and simply say, if you ring Rumi's up and wish to attend, ask for a table near the Susan Terry/285 Foodies table.  There is a lovely bar with swanky cocktails for those who wish to imbibe. They also have a charming market area at the front selling Persian pastries, cheeses and other treats.   The restaurant is intimate in scale and a touch noisy.  They are doing a brisk business, so if you wish to make another reservation to be near us, please kindly do so promptly.  Their number is 404.477.2100.

It looks like it will be a fun dinner, we may bring along one other person...

I don't think everyone I heard is going has confirmed here on our board but I hear that we have about 12 folks...

Girly = 1
dewdropper = 1
Jen Jen = 2 + 1

Confirmed reservation @ Rumi's fora party of 14. If you are joining us, please let me know because I may need to adjust our reservation accordingly.  That way Rumi"s is ready for us, whether we are scaled up or scaled down.  Look forward to seeing everyone!

Good event, thanks to all of you that came out on this rainy night and joined together in a pretty darn good Persian meal at Rumi's Kitchen.

Thanks Dewdropper for putting it together.

Please post comments and compliments here:
