I was out of town for a week, if you see 'em report 'em and I'll get them taken down quickly..  Are there some that I have missed?

In the old AC board there was a list of 10 or so posts that were most recent in the Forum Stats area.  Is there a way to show that again?  It was helpful to see the posts that were made since I had visited last.

click the link on the top left just below your name that says "Show unread posts since last visit.".
It's an awesome feature.

Agreed it is an awesome feature.  Probably the best improvement when that other board was upgraded several months back.

Thanks!  I was looking around for buttons or check boxes to click on to show me those kinds of posts but never saw the links up there.  Problem solved.

As you peek around and learn this not-too-different software, be aware that you can change your "theme" in your profile area.

Not that it changes much, but it is a bit of adaptability that the folks at SMF have added to individual profiles.

I have a question about posting photos.

I always save mine 9" wide at 72 dpi. Then I save for web and downsize the quality percentage in Photoshop to get required file size. My photos come in very small when I post them and you have to click on them to get a larger size. Some of the photos others post seem to be full size. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Hmmm  never had an issue..  I let Outlook resize the pictures I'm going to post, ( I right click the picture and send it to an email recipient, copy and the paste the picture in a designated folder and rename it so I can tell it from the original size one ).   They seem to come out good that way without me having to open up Photoshop or some other picture management software?

Also, let me see what the guys at SMF have to say?

andy, that sounds like a lot of work! check out irfanview. It's a free viewer and you can resize and save in lower quality. Very fast.
can't help with your question though:)

What type of file are you saving them as? JPG seem to be the easiest to handle, with small file size...

Andy, I use Picasa (free) and upload to an album that I've set as public.  When I click a photo then select "link to this photo", it gives me a link (after I cut off everything but the actual address) that I can insert here using the insert image button... and it lets me choose the size.
