Working in the kitchen
« on: November 03, 2009, 10:00:40 AM »
We made pies yesterday.  We made pumpkin (actually Jarrahdale winter squash) pies with our Niece Cassie Culver (5Years old), doing the helping.. with planning, explaining, measuring, and weighing, it took a good 5 hours.

I loved the help I had, it was a true pleasure to do cup measurements, and teaspoon measurements and have this quick-to-learn 5 year old have her way with me in the kitchen.

(the pumpkin in the picture is a regular pumpkin, not a Jarrahdale)

Finding offense where none is intended is a form of selfishness.

When facts change, I change my mind.  What do you do?

It's a poor craftsman that blames his tools.
