Finding offense where none is intended is a form of selfishness.

When facts change, I change my mind.  What do you do?

Hog Island Oyster house in the Ferry building

Tuesday:

Rustic Bakery 3902 Cypress Drive, Petaluma, Ca 94954

Dirty and Rowdy winery in Santa Rosa, CA

Russian River Brewery  ( I had a pizza and beer )

Restaurant in the hotel - Eclipse Restaurant and bar

http://sanfranciscoregency.hyatt.com/en/hotel/dining/EclipseRestaurant.html

Wednesday:

Swan Oyster Depot for several dozen oysters and good conversation with the owner Steve (he remembered me from before)

Waxman's new restaurant out on near the piers by Ghirardelli Square.

Thursday:

Ate at "The Farmers Wife" a food stall at the farmers market at the Ferry Building before we flew to LAX

Drove from LAX to San Bernardino to our hotel ( a nice Hilton Homewood Suites )

At at B.J.'s restaurant on Hospitality Drive in San Berni and went to bed

Friday:

Met brother, chatted and went to breakfast at a place I think is named "Jenny's in Highland, nice reminds me of local breakfast/lunch places

We went to Hanger 24, a brewery for a few beerz.

Went to dinner at Cafe Sevilla in Riverside, it again was amazing. Tapas, good sangria, a band, good Spanish feel to the restaurant.

Saturday:

Complimentary breakfast at Homewood Suites, always good.

visited with brother Dan and aimed the car toward San Diego, knowing we would stop at a couple breweries in Temicula, CA and we did.  Insert names of breweries here.

Arrived at Victory Station Hilton Homewood suites and settled in for two days.

Went to Humphrey's on Shelter Island chef Nicolas Bour is the Exec chef there for dinner. fabulous dinner, good wine, great champagne, a good re-bonding event.

(remember that my wife is working at a conference during these days and I am just our roaming and things)

Sunday:  I hope I have these days right

Mid-day we went to Liberty Public Market (sort of like Ponce City Market or Krog st. Market or Avalon).  a very neat place, good to roam around and do some serious tasting--- cheese, charcuterie, wine, beer, etc.

We had a late lunch at "Fireside" restaurant at Liberty Station, it was good to great, with good beer, a VERY busy staff and a wonderful day in San Diego

Monday:

Had lunch with an old friend at Coasterra a new restaurant out on Harbor island, great view, terrific Mexican food and a very modern setting.

Tuesday:

Drove to Del Mar, California to stay at L'Auberge resort

I visited two or three breweries on my way there..

Culture

and one other?-----

Dinner for me on the patio that evening, on the beach, hearing the surf and eating oysters and drinking local beer.

Wednesday:

I hit a bunch of breweries.. Names to follow

Thursday:

Get up, have a good breakfast and drive to San Diego to fly back home.  Arrive home at 11pm.
