Elton John at Phillips arena
« on: November 16, 2013, 11:38:04 PM »

We just got in from a fantastic Elton John concert at Phillips arena.   He still has it...

He played to a full house (about 17,000+ folks that sang along with MANY of his songs) and he seemed to love it.   He played pretty much non-stop for 3 1/2 hours taking a sip of water now and again but rocking hard and doing all of the songs from my era and Deanne's..   Great surprise concert from her to me tonight.    Good box seats, fair "arena" food and good stiff drinks.  And Elton playing his huge playlist with a lot of them from Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, and Madman Across the Water..

Finding offense where none is intended is a form of selfishness.

When facts change, I change my mind.  What do you do?

It's a poor craftsman that blames his tools.
