I think I'm guilty of ordering 3 of these on at least an occasional basis.

I rarely order edamame in a restaurant.  Having made it while helping out Taka and we usually boil up a bag while at the beach I pretty much understand the economics.  In the good old days of sitting at the bar at Soto everyone was presented with a complimentary small portion of edamane.  Being regulars we were presented a pretty decent sized bowl.

Edamame. I always wonder why people order that. You can buy a whole bag in Atlanta for under $3. In Los Angeles, I bought bags at 2 for $1. I used them as ice cube replacements to ship back things to Atlanta. (then I eat Edamame for days afterwards).
