It was a perfect day for a race - cool and overcast. There was a good turnout. The course winded through Decatur by Emory with a few of rough hills, especially by the Fernbank Platerium. It was fun. I'm trying to get me average mile time below 10 minutes. I have more 'hill work' to do starting Monday. My friends almost have me talked into the
Rock-n-Roll Half Marathon in Savannah.Side note - I had breakfast with a buddy at
'rise-n-dine' in in Emory Village. The coffee was strong and my Polish Omelette with cheddar, kielbasa and perogi hit the spot.
