I have a bunch of off-the-wall things I have been trying..

Tonight is a Smuttynose "Star Island Single".  A really good beer, maybe it was just that it was cold and wet in this heat but I really like it.

And the night before at Summits, I had a Green Flash IPA, fresh on draught and absolutely delicious.  I had not had any Green Flash beers before and they are numerous.

Last night it was a Sierra Nevada Hoptimum (in the bottle).  It is a very hoppy but fairly well balanced beer, it would not be my go-to beer to be sure, but it is good to mix and match and taste new things.

Tonight I'm going to give Pyramid Outburst Imperial IPA a try (in the bottle).  Not too bad with just the first taste in my mouth.

I might not have time tonight but I have some pictures of labels of some of the things that have passed through my glass in the last 2 weeks.   Stand by..

Pyramid Outburst Imperial IPA is tasty. Followed by Hopsecutioner, Burton Baton and for dessert, Founders Breakfast Stout.

IPAs are things I endure rather than really love. Pale ales are hoppy enough for me. I like good American pale ales.

A beer variety I've been pleased with the saison, at least in the form of Ommegang's Hennepin. I also like Hoegaarden's Wit beer, New Belgium's 1554, and oh yes, real Czech pilsners.

Bell's Brewery has a good brown ale.

In a pub, I like the creaminess of stouts. Hard to get that same creaminess out of the bottle.

FnS.

Two new ones tonight neither one is BAD, but I guess I'm stuck on the three or five beers I keep in close rotation.

BluePoint Brewing Company really delivered with their Hoptical Illusion IPA, I could get used to this one.  Nice tall head, good flavor, nice finish.

One from Scotland

Brew Dog's Punk IPA, honestly a good refreshing 5.6% beer.  I'd have it in rotation.

What is the abv on the blue point?
I just opened a Duck-Rabbit Hoppy Bunny ABV. ( American Black Ale). At 7.3% a nice Black Ale, still in the bottle, coffee flavor comes thru immediately. Must try another....
