Currently at the bar at Leon's enjoying a Bell's Double Cream Stout. Quite tasty.
May crack one of these tonight...http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/1199/11757
GG, for a beer with distinct American hops I think the Loose Cannon is good, but I didn't care for the Double Trouble at all. I don't think they really have much in common besides the fact that they're both hoppy IPAs.I had a bottle of Cantillon 1900 Grand Cru last night, the only real, unblended lambic available in the US. Almost completely flat and just about as tart as pure lemon juice. It was actually pretty hard to pick out distinct flavors beyond sour and a little funk (much less funk than I expected), but it was tasty. Not a beer that I would want to drink all the time, which at $17 for a bottle is a good thing.
