I ate in Cedartown for the first time three weeks ago, driving back from my first skydrive. Wisely I did not eat breakfast that morning, which left me very hungry by 3pm, when I had finished the jump. On the return drive to Atlanta we stopped off at El Nopal Mexican Restaurant on Main Street, as they had several cars in the parking lot, which I took as a sign that they might offer good food. Not even thinking that we were in one of those odd county's, we ordered margaritas, only to find they did not serve alcohol on Sundays, not even beer, our second choice. Partner had a combo plate with one beef enchilada and one tamale, with beans and rice. Disappointingly, the beef was nondescript mince meat. I had a veggie quesadilla, with a side of guacamole. Which was flavorful, and not overly cheesy. Cost was under $20 with two ice tea. Meal served its purpose. I will keep an eye out for Hibachi Express when I return from my next jump.
