I am stuck on the new CD, El Camino,  from The Black Keys.  Many TV shows have sampled it already.  I think we will be hearing several singles from this one.

Have you ever listened to someone for a while and wondered, who ties your shoelaces?

You can't do epic shit with basic people.

I am enjoying this morning a relatively new album by various artists from Texas, "Songs in the Spirit: The Texas Collection". Especially, Brian Burns, "I Stood Up".

If you could only pick the Spencer Davis Group version or the Chicago Transit Authority version which would it be?  IMHO, one of those songs that is done very well by both bands.

Not in my CD Player, but on weekdays on your AM radio, catch Island Blend on 1100AM from 10 to 12:00. If you like Reggae Music this is a mellow and worthy station if you can pick it up.

I'm listening to a bootleg from '96 of Greyboy Allstars with Fred Wesley in NYC.  I'm excited that were added to the Hangout Festival lineup yesterday.

Almost done with Locked On by Tom Clancy.  Really enjoy the military fiction stuff, but man I wish he was a little more moderate.  Feels like I'm listening to a Tea Party marketing packet sometimes :)

Jerry Jeff Walker - Viva Teralingua
Lowell George - Hank Wilsons Back

And a ton of The Band and The Burritos have been in heavy rotation...
