I have a few post to throw into this thread..    Not ready right now, but I have tried some new, delicious beerz, and have tasted some others that are not in that category..

One that comes to mind is the Founders, IPA that is in my glass right now.  What a wonderful brew...

I read in the fishwrapper that 21st Amendment is now bottled and being sold here.  Not my favorite brewpub in SF, but they did have some reliable draft and a nice SoMa location not too far from the AT&T ballpark.

21st Amendment's Hell or High Water IPA was okay (on tap at the Porter, Young Augustine's, and probably a few other places).  Not too hoppy, probably about Sweetwater quality (I'm not a big fan but I'll drink it if there's nthing else).

Had it at Augustines - OK was being polite.

Did you try the watermelon wheat?  I thought that sounded like a terrible idea so I didn't try it (and don't imagine I ever will).

This may be the best beer in the world.   At least to me.

Gouden Corolus Cuvee Van De Keizer Blauw

I drank parts of it over 2 nights.  None left tonight.. I would buy a couple bottles of this one to put back... the 2009 is terrific even now...

http://www.gallup.com/poll/141656/Drinking-Rate-Edges-Slightly-Year-High.aspx

Results of a Gallup poll show that two-thirds of all American adults are drinkers, and that beer is the most popular choice, as it has been every year since 1992 except for one year (2005) when wine briefly surpassed it.

Stopped by Tower on Piedmont to do a little beer shopping and asked about the Southern Tier Creme Brulee Stout.  Seems Tower only got 2 cases of it and it sold out immediately.  No word on whether they will get any more.  Anyone seen it around?  I had it on tap at Mac McGee's and I WANT SOME MORE!

Thought about your post at lunch time and meant to IM or respond but it slipped my mind.  You will find a much more responsive group to this kind of query on the Atlanta beer list.  Best to go to the collective beer geeks when you really have geekish beer query.

Do you shop at Decatur Wine & Spirits? They often have stuff other stores don't.

I think I saw it at Decatur Cook's Warehouse this week.  I didn't realize that they actually have a pretty good selection.  Personally, I could barely drink the Creme Brulee (on tap at Thinking Man).  Way too sweet for my tastes.
