http://atlanta.eater.com/archives/2012/08/08/reports-on-dancing-goats-coffee-and-more.phpEater Atlanta reports that "The people behind Taverna Fiorentina are opening a second Italian trattoria this year. MezzaLuna Ristorante will start serving in September under the direction of co-owners Paolo Tondo, the chef, and Reyes Scott, the sommelier."My guess is that this is the replacement for the closed Boca Mexican restaurant.
Four new places going into the Sweet Apple area of Roswell. Sushi, pizza, Etris Kitchen and a place called Peach and Porkchop (or some thing like that).

One is Marco's Pizza, but the other three appear to be indies. Peach & the Pork Chop has a Facebook page, but gives very little in terms of details. I have my people working on it. https://www.facebook.com/PeachAndThePorkchop

We live in the same neighborhood and we really enjoyed his menu at Milton's so I hope that's the case. One of the best pork chops I've ever had was at Milton's

The FB page does say along the lines of family friendly farm to table. Milton's was known for growing most of the veggies in the on-premises garden, so sounds like Rose will bloom a similar concept.
GG>- Here is something I snipped from FB, We are going to have a new brewpub near Emory....Crawford MoranIt's official, I am opening a new brewpub! Slice & Pint We'll be making hand crafted pizza and hand crafted beers. We ordered the brewing equipment yesterday and picked up the keys to the place. It's over in Emory Village. Lots of hard work ahead - lots of fun too. Stay tuned......
Wife reports a new taqueria opening near Stax. I know the Stax owners were planning on opening an upscale Mexican in the old Wolf Camera. I wonder if after long delay it’s that or another “authentic” choice along Roswell’s grossly underrated Taco and Tamale Trail. Pale skins seem to be willing to try the gringo friendly Tacos Linda Vista and Mr. Taco, but there as so many other options that only Milt and I will mingle among the authentic clientele. That being said, the "upscale" Mexican probably would do a better job of filling a void.

One of these days, I'm going to eat my way along your Taco and Tamale trail. Everything you post about there sounds divine.
