Bagel Boys in Alpharetta has opened a second location. I just got a nice email from one of their owners. They are on the corner of Webb Bridge and Kimball Bridge near the post office. This location is supposed to have some high-end coffee, something they couldn't offer at the first shop (next to Starbucks).

That part of town is getting saturated with bagel shops now. With the new BB's very close by, Brooklyn and Essex, so you think they all can make it?

Chef Pete's Cajun Cuisine-Coming Soon- In the Mansell Oaks strip mall (same place as Longhorn Steaks on Mansell Rd.) On opposite end from Longhorn. To the left of BirdWatchers Supply. I have no idea if this is the same Chef Pete of Dumpwoody fame or not.

Looks like their website is up... complete with menu.

I just tried to call Chef Pete's Cajun Cuisine, using the number on the web site. I got the message "This number has been disconnected or no longer in service". Geez, I hope that is not an omen. Or, maybe they misspelled the number.

They have my beautiful raw Prime Steaks for grillin n chillin! I cant go back to choice ever since I had prime steaks.

They open Oct 28. I got an invite to a preview on the 27th. Its in my neighborhood too.

Not sure if these have already been noted, Piedmont Road happenings.  A new place - the name of which escapes me - is opening in that space on Piedmont at Morosgo near the Lindbergh Marta station, which has been many, many things, none of them very successful.  And a sign for Perla Taqueria in the old Mrs. Winner's location on Piedmont just north of Cheshire Bridge.
