Do I have an "Amen" after I shout    "Damn it's hot"

The water in our birdbath is almost boiling.

Anybody want to come and help with a crawfish boil Saturday?  107 ambient temperature with double propane burners and boiling spicy liquid.  I think I'll sweat off a few pounds.

Ewww! LOL. But at least we had a decent June, which we have not had the past two years. Hopefully it will cool down a bit after the next week.

My outdoor thermometer is showing 88 degree right now. 10:16 at night. It was 90 at 9:00.

Crazy.  :o

And I do NOT like hot weather. At all. I hate to say it, but as soon as my Dad passes, I'm outta GA!!

Ga. is not alone in its suffering. Have you seen the heat map across the country? Unless you are in Seattle or Maine, it's HOT.   :P

We hit 92º yesterday and today is supposed to be 98º but we do usually get some breeze so that helps. June has been pretty mild but summer is here and July and August will be hot and humid down here in Beaufort. Hang in there guys.

My car AC has been intermittent for a few weeks and the guys I took it to couldn't figure out what is wrong.

Then last night it started to get warm in our house. Yep, AC unit has error message and needs service. Really. Guy is supposed to be coming tooday at 4 - fingers crossed that he can fix it.

Was he successful? If not, I suggest an air conditioned motel room the rest of the weekend.

He was somewhat successful but it won't cool below 83 upstairs and 80 downstairs. Guy came again today and thought he fixed it again but it is still doing the same thing tonight. They are coming again tomorrow. I really don't think it is the repair people - this thing has been an off-and-on nightmare lemon from day one five years ago. It is some fancy Carrier thing. Then again, they were the folks that installed it....

And then our fridge gave up the ghost today, I think from working so hard in a hot house. Fridge guy came and said it was a damper motor and he would replace tomorrow. We cleaned the condenser coils AFTER he left (duh, but we were confused earlier because the freezer part seemed to be working and just the fridge was warm, so we thougt it was not a dirty condenser) and now it seems to be working but has no damper in it!

Crazy.

Wow. Bad mojo. Now you get to deal with a fridge repairman, too.
What a nasty situation all around.

I know, really! I swear I'm not a bad person!!!

AC guys are here now. Fridge ppl coming "between 2-5" to replace small plastic parts for $400+. And I don't think that will be the total solution.
