Title: Fitzgerald's Barbecue
Post by: uOTPia Dweller on May 02, 2015, 04:51:55 PM
Daughter had baseball game at Newtown Park. Lots of sports and the JC Farmers Market meant parking was a living hell. However, always busy on Saturday mornings, I thought my frequent Little League two-weenie breakfast was inevitable, forgetting about the market.

Instead of inhaling weenies, I ate some delicious butt. A new (I believe) father-daughter vendor Fitzgerald’s had probably the best ‘cue I’ve ever had at a FM. No, I didn’t say best anywhere, but at a no-frills FM, yes sir.

I had pulled pork and stew. Pork had a nice smoked taste. They also offer beef. At least today, no ribs. I generally will ask questions, but wanted to get to baseball, so didn’t ask many today.

Another baseball mom said they usually have more sides. She also thought they were damn good. Keep Fitzgerald’s on the radar screen yo. I will eat their butt over wieners any day.

I’m just going to say it. Fitzgerald’s might be my fave chicken cue. Not my fave for pork or beef (though gets my full approval as it is often verra convenient for us), but that chicken is purty dern good. Until proven otherwise, I do declare the best chicken barbecue in town.

Being a kitchen kind of guy, I NEVER get chicken at a BBQ place..  I'll take your wird for it......
