The cheese triangles don't go like that

Starting in July Subway will be tessellating its cheese (and if your cheese has ever been tessellated you know how painful that can be).

Actually it means that the orientation of the triangles will be flipped in alternating order so that there is no overlap and also no gaps between pieces.  See the link for an illustration.  Apparently customers kept complaining that parts of their sandwiches had unequal distribution of fillings, some even going so far as to demand their orders be laid out according to their own specifications.

Any more evidence necessary that Americans are spoiled rotten and will always find something to complain about?

Hey, if nothing else, you just expanded your vocabulary.

I hate how chipotle, and other burrito places layer the stuff, so each bite isn't properly distributed with fillings.
I think they should put everything in a mixing bowl, mix, THEN put it in a burrito....good distribution every bite!

It all ends up in the same place anyway!   ;)
