A veritable "dream team" of competition 'cue will be in the 2013 Pigs and Peaches in Kennesaw in August. It's a KCBS event.

Jeff Rittman's regular team now has Dave Roberts of Community Q, Dave Poe of Dave Poe's BBQ, and Robert Owens of Grand Champion BBQ.

This team is fundraising for Down Syndrome.

My hope is that they have NOT forgotten how to cook competition BBQ rather than restaurant quality BBQ, there is an enormous difference.  Judging is double blind so we judges will not know at all who we are judging.  They usually have a full team of certified judges at that competition and rarely even one celebrity judge.
